I've had this game on my system before and it worked great!!! I have the compilation pack, innersphere and clan packs too.
I reinstalled the game after 3 years of not playing. First I had to get Kaspersky to allow the game, did that. But it still starts, gives the opening pic then dies before Task Manager can see it. So I disabled Kaspersky 7.0 and tried it again...same thing! I've removed the autoconfig programs and tried it same thing...I've got the latest drivers for my EVGA 7800gs AGP card. I've adjusted the card to let the program decide, same thing...I've reinstalled 3 time today to no avail. I've manually adjusted setting for graphix in the INI to 800x600x32, upto 1050x768x32.
The list of changes since I last played it are...upgrade from 1gb to 2 gb of ram, grafix card from a evga 5700le to the evga 7800gs, and dumped Norton for Kaspersky, changed from a 16.1 inch monito to a 20 inch monitor from hp wt2700 model.
