I just installer MW4 Mercs, after about a year of not playing. and I've installed the point release, but its still saying in the lobby that i have a older version, cause most of the servers are green and it won't let me connect.

Yer prolly tryin ta connect to one a them thar servers with the mektek mech pack on it. Or you don't really have the right update. Or you need a certain map, or some other thing like that....(like, you keep trying to join games running a no-cd crack on the server, which sometimes wont let folks with the real deal join.)
