MechWarrior Leagues SolarisLeague is all about bringing the single-player version of MW4 Mercenaries Solaris combat format to the online gaming realm. If you haven't played the single-player, give it a shot, play on Solaris, and you'll know exactly where this particular league is going.

In a nutshell, SolarisLeague is a format with 12 players per match, last mech standing wins, and each player gets graded points the earlier they get killed, all the way down to 1 point for the first killout, and up to 12 points for the last mech standing. Matches will continue for approximately 13-week cycles, at which time Championships and then the Grand Championship will be held. Matches and standings are divided into the four weight classes; light, medium, heavy, and assault. Each player is allowed one match per week, per weight class, to maintain equity amongst the players.

MechWarrior Leagues just completed a full cycle of two Beta tests, including actual matches and a championship, to ensure the format is viable, and all feedback from the over 200 participants in the beta was very favorable. All match and player management, scheduling, notifications, and results are automated using the website. MWL has five (5) dedicated MW4 Mercenaries servers on which matches are played, thanks to some great volunteers.

Players wishing to participate must become registered members of MechWarrior Leagues.

On April 2nd, the beta data will be cleared, and new signups for the four weight classes will begin. New matches in each weight class will appear shortly after that. So if you are interested, get to the MWL site and register up for an account, and prepare to mech-up into one or more SolarisLeague weight classes on April 2nd!

After a small outage due to a flood of connections on Aprils 2nd, we have relocated the MWL site to a 100% dedicated server, and SolarisLeague signups are now available for existing and new members of MechWarrior Leagues. The season will start on April 15th, and end 13 weeks later on July 15th.
