Hi again, I know the AI on lancemates suck but when you ask them to "protect a target" do they do that? Or do they just fight enemies like normal.

P.S: I am on mechwarrior 4 mercenaries, i don't know if that makes any difference

The problem is when they 'protect a target' they just hang around near the target, and don't run off. That's about the extent of the protection they give. Better than nothing.
