"Spiderman: The Movie (Xbox)"

Right...my brother's gone berserk...DOA3 and PGR barely arrived and he's already buying Spiderman
First I figured it was a bit exagerated...but that was before I played it for an hour...then I got hooked
I like this game...the previous Spiderman game on the PC was nice, but very short, and the outside levels were ridiculously small. Thats changed, luckily. At the minor sacrifice of realism (Spidey sometimes seems to shoot web at nothing but air when he slings) the outside levels are a LOT bigger...which is VERY cool. You can now sling around for a pretty long time without any goal, just because it's such a cool way of travel
The aerial battles are incredible though...jumping onto an airborne enemy is incredibly cool, especially when you begin bashing their brains in. It's SERIOUSLY cool to jump onto the Green Goblin's jet and begin bashing his brains in
The levels inside arent quite as much fun,but they're still great too...especially if you fight against/alongside another superhero. Those are really brilliant moments.

The graphics are also VERY impressive, especially the lips when the character's talk, and the superhero's costumes (whether that's Spidey or some other like Scorpion) are awesome too.
What's really great though,is Spidey's constant remarks. Back in the comics and TV shows he always had these witty remarks, and they're back in this game, and man are they good (but only when he's fighting another superhero)
Even if you're losing the battle you dont care, cause you're having a laugh either way. Stuff like the Green Goblin yelling "What are you doing? There's no need for us to fight!" and Spidey replying "Yeah...when you stop lobbing bombs at me,I'll consider that!" might sound lame here, but in game it's been done REALLY great. Very nice touch, definetely makes the game more enjoyable.
If you like Spiderman you MUST HAVE THIS GAME. If you liked the previous one (it sucked) you're going to LOVE this. If you didnt like the previous one except for the fact that it was Spiderman, you'll LOVE this as well

Any Spiderman fan reading this: Get it. Now. Come on,quick!

I rented it and also played the demo from the Offical Xbox Magizine.

I liked the game for the most part I guess my only conplaint would be the camera control. I felt it wasn't fast enuff to keep up. if you wallcrawled around a corner you would sometimes come under fire from thugs and then have to wait for the veiw to catch up so you could see where the gunfire was coming from. This is just a small complaint Overall I think it is a fun title and would recommend it.

True, the camera is pretty poor. But when you're fighting a single enemy, such as the Scorpion or something,it's very effective to turn on Camera lock, which basically keeps the camera looking at the Scorpion. You can do this against multiple enemies too,it's just not very effective then, but when you're fighting a superhero (or you're engaging in aerial combat) camera lock is a BIG help.
