That post on Galactic Battlegrounds got me thinking: Microsoft is going to release Age of Mhythology, another company's gonna launch Praetorians, and Empire Earth is already out, not to mention the expansions of AoE. But which one's better?
I played the majority of those, and I think that by far the best one is Empire Earth. Graphics are good, the maps are HUGE, the units are balanced, and there are so many different ages, from Prehistory to the Digital Age. Compared to the span of the other games, they all seem dwarfed comparing the scale of the combat of EE. And besides, it's like you already get Age of Empires with it because the same ages of AoE are there too.

AOM's gameplay will be new and refreshing hopefully. I think Ensemble studios knows not to make another Age II clone (They're the ones that came up with it's great gameplay in the first place). It seems like AOM has been in development for a long while now...two years...year and a half? I can't wait (to rain fireballs on other civs..heheahah)
