Yes, but it reads like an overture. But an overture to what?
Do we need to wait for another three years and nine month before we are about to learn more?
I still like to know were missed the 'family reunion'. Anyway good to know the Slade is about to go on with the story.

A mech in its bay is safe. But that's not what mechs are made for.

Very cool. Nice paint scheme

Actually gives me an idea. As part of your fiction page, maybe we could someday stick a link to a bio page for the entire unit.

Thanks Slade for coming back to this. Great to see the story moving forward! I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress! What will happen to the captured vehicles from the first contract? Will Morrison form an assault lance based on the BLR/EMP/SHT? Were there enough light mechs salvaged from the fighting on Alcor and Galatea to form a recon lance (Cicada, Night Hawk, Vulcan, Firestarter omni)? What will happen with the Spearhead Division? So many possibilities, please keep going!
