I have been brutally oppossed to this DarkAge thing from the start but it is mostly because the hear-say information I have gathered from it so far makes me hate it. I was wondering if there is any official documents on the factions involved in Dark Age. The actual game seems really fun to me at least, just the story seems stupid.

If you buy a starter kit it comes with these little file cards that explain the backgrounds and motives of each faction. If you've bought one before, try and find those cards. If not, the wizkids website should have something. I never liked Darkages story so all I can really tell you is what clan or house each faction came from.

and click on the various factions in the bottom right, and you get a popup with info about the various factions.
