less ppl talking leads to a lot less noise.
not much news in most catagories. mechwarrior is mostly dead and no real possibility for future news. mechcommander likewise. battletech always was slow.
those were the primary drivers on the forum. less people posting means less ppl are going to come to the other games or open mic sections. degrading site visit rates significantly.
everyone's probably popping in periodically, just not saying much. no sense in necroposting and holding up conversations all by yourself is really hard work.
