I really liked MW2 more than any of the other Mechwarrior games. Mechwarrior 3 is a close second because they still had the influence of mw2 to work with. Then of course Microsoft thought it would be a good idea to get ideas online and the whiner boys went to work. but I don't need to say all this again. Anyways...
I think it would be really cool if Activision found a way to put Mechwarrior 2 back into production. Not large scale of course it would never sell in retail btu just a few hundred copies we could buy from thier website for hardcore. Maybe of course with a few code changes that lets it run with our new systems. Even if ti wasn't changed I would get it just for the sake of being able to retire my poor age scared copy of mechwarrior 2. Does anyoen else have any thoughts. And I know what would eb the best is a revamped one with new graphics same gameplay and such but we know that isn't happening.

Both are great games. Ghost bears legacy is too. I love the cinematics they did even if they are getting a bit old. The first time I saw the Ghost Bear opening all I could say is wow and I want a kodiak. I wonder if there is anyoen that still plays net mech I think you can do Tcp/IP games on it. Need to get some posters together. First I gotta put a working modem on my old computer that runs mw2.

Has anyone used the DOS version of Netmech with the CD. Does it still not work on fast machines like the single player game? If it doesn't the hard thing will be finding a computer crappy enough to run the game but still good enough to get a solid internet connection.

Intresting but I wonder how the new game mechanics would change it. Wonder if the destroy power generator third wolf mission would be fun in mw4. My personal fav is Scorching Sands. The begining is beautiful. As you power up 2 jenners fly down the side of the mesa in front of you firing.

I would be so hapy to see MW2 being sold again. That game was the single most amazing mech game ever made, in my opinion, that is. I loved the game play and horrible graphics and all the intense cutscenes - ESPECIALLY the intro where the timberwolfs get the #### blown out of them.
I think the best part of that game was the fact that I would see my dad playing it in our office and I rarley got the chance to watch. Whenever I did, though, it blew me away at how intesne it was.
Soooo yeah. I'd love to see that on the shelves again. _____________________
