Your post is hard to encrypt for me. The standalone version does not need the original MC2 and contains everything (and a little more) than MC2 + wolfman-x.
It is an extended gaming environment not an expansion of the CARVER V campaign.
I always supported CARVER V in wolfman-x but I am no longer interested in CARVER V support with wolfman-MC2X because CARVER V is a great, old campaign that uses video files and you can game it without my stuff. wolfman-MC2X is the base for campaigns or missions designed for it.
