Ok, i have this major problam.

I resently got Homeworld 2, installed it, did all the regstry stuff, made shure i had the latest of everything. i cliked the icon, the screen goes black (like in most games) and then i get the desktop again. it wont run! HELP!

Ok... so you start HW2, and the next thing you know you're back at the desktop - no splash screen, no nothing?
If it's a case of splash screen, then nothing, it could well be a copy protection issue - try disabling any emulation software you may have running such as alcohol 120, or daemon tools.
If you do that and nothing happens, you could always go looking for a nocd patch...

i start the program. the screen goes black, and then goes to the desktop. i dont have a clue what splash is.
