I have been looking for information if they are even going to work on mw5 is there any news thats not over 5 months to a year old? Also wish they would design a MMORPG mechwarrior style. Just think about it, they would have a ton of content and ability to add more add pvp aspect to it in general take out players and even take their mechs and salvage em. So any news on any new stuff in regards to the game would be great if anyone knows something. Thanks

Well I m pretty old school^^.I like to pay for a game only once. I m not into paying a montly fee. So I wouldnt be happy with a MMO Game.
I hope they will do a classic Singleplayer/ Multiplayer game.
And no, there is nothing, nada ,zilsch news on that topic. I hope shadowrun wont be a big hit, so the remember their good ol' mechwarrior franchise and give it another try.

I would play an MMO if it didn't suck. I've been playing quite a bit (couple dozen) of different ones over the last 3 years and I think I've got the feel for what would make a great BT MMO (but hey, doesn't everyone).
They are NOT working on MW5 at this time.
My guess is Crimson Skies 3, MechAssault 3, see how sales go, and plan their next move from there. You may see a combined PC/XBOX360 release for those two titles, but we'll see how Shadowrun does first.
All I ask is that they consult closely with Loren Coleman and Randall Bills on storyline elements. MechAssault 2's story made me want to drive a screwdriver in my eyes and ears. Doom super boss ending!??? NO!!!!!!!

With the advent of massive multi-player server, good hi speed internet, one can now field a high grapics intensive massive multiplayer game wherin the battles as prescribed in the Mechwarrior fantasy series are completely possible.
Players will be able to choose their sides and the architecture of the game will allow for selections of Mechs and weapons in accordance with the dominions selected. The game will enable players to select their battle mercs and their configurations, weapons loadouts, etc. Allies and units will also be possible. Retention of scores and a possible accounting system will enable warrior to buy their equipment and advance as credits are acquired and earned as well as absoption of mercs weapons and parts from destoyed opponents.
The massive scale of the multiplayer feature on a global basis will enable play 24 / 7 across the global timeszones. The features of alliances and units will create dynamic amalgamations of players that will certainly evoke the continual warfare that the game is premised on.
The architecture of the game and it's complexity will evolve assuring continuity and maintain peaked interest for the long term. High resolution graphics and simulation like environs will assure visual entertainmnet. Updated sound and 3D sound imaging will provide gamers a battle simulation that is worthy of the Mechwarrior following. Renewed interest in the game as its international appeal remains strong may allow for the investment this undertaking calls for to be returned to the game manufacturer in spades....
